Sea transport passengers from Bali to various destinations in Indonesia rose 29 percent from 192,304 people during June 2017 to 248,080 people during July 2017; an increase of 55,776 people,  as reported by Nusa Bali

“Similarly, goods transport increased by 3,219 tons or 26.03 percent from 12,365 tons to 15,584 tons,” said Head of Bali Central Bureau of Statistics, Adi Nugroho, in Denpasar on Tuesday (12/9).

He said that the number of passengers passing through Benoa Harbor, during July 2017 was recorded as 75,076 people, an increase of 32.85 percent compared to June 2017 which recorded 56,511 people. Passenger departures compared to the same month the previous year showed a jump of 50.63 percent –  the number of departures in July 2016 was recorded as 49,840 people.

The number of passengers passing through ports other than Benoa during July 2017 was as many as 248,080 people, an increase of 29 percent compared to June 2017 when 192,304 people were recorded.
