The number of foreign tourist arrivals to Bali during March 2018 reached a total of 492,678 people, which was an increase of 8.9 percent over the previous month, February and compared to March 2017, there was an increase of 15.79 percent. According to a report released by the Bali Bureau of Statistics released on Wednesday, 484,486 tourists arrived by plane, and 7,832 arrived by ship.
Chinese dominated the arrivals with 22.31 percent, followed by Australia with 18.16 percent, India with 5.82 percent, Japan with 4.97 percent and England with 4.61 percent.
The hotel room occupancy rate (TPK) of the starred hotels reached 61.19 percent during March, a drop of 5.47 point compared to February 2018. If compared with March 2017, there was an increase of 4.61 percent. The average length of stay at starred hotels was 3.22 days during March 2018, a slight increase over last month and March 2017.
