An Australian man, Scott Harrison, 40, who got in trouble with the law after hitting three security guards last week, was released from Kuta Polsek on Sunday after he made peace with all of the victims.

“Yes, we have released him, as he has solved the problem and made peace with the men concerned,” the Head of Kuta Polsek Criminal Investigation Unit, First Inspector I Putu Ika Prabawa, told detik.com on Sunday.

The man was arrested on Wednesday at around dawn after he hit three security guards for some unknown reason when arriving back to his hotel in a drunken state. The three dropped the charges after the man apologized. It was not stated if there was a payment involved.
