Bali’s champion football team, Bali United has opened their second merchandise outlet at Made’s Warung, Seminyak, after opening their first recently at Bebek Bengil, Ubud.  The new store was officially opened to the public last Saturday and the ceremony was attended by Bali United CEO, Yabes Tanuri, the head coach, Widodo Cahyono Putro, and striker Ilija Spasojevic.

The purpose of the new outlet is to accommodate Bali United fans who want to buy merchandise in the Kuta/Seminyak area. “With this new outlet, they don’t need to go far away to buy them at the Bali United Megastore at Kapten I Wayan Dipta Stadium,” said Bali United CEO, Yabes Tanuri.

He also told jawapos.com that he is glad that his team can have a cooperation with Made’s Warung. He is sure that it will help to bring Bali United to an international audience. “Made’s Warung is one of Bali’s tourism icons. It has become a local and foreign tourist destination since 1969,” he said. When he was asked about the price difference between the outlet at Made’s and the Bali United Megastore, he answered, “There is no price difference.”

Meanwhile, owner of Made’s Warung, Made Raymond, hoped that the opening of Bali United’s new outlet will give benefits to both parties. “I hope Bali United will grow bigger and this new outlet opening will be a part of Bali’s soccer development. I also hope that it will introduce the Bali soccer team to foreign tourists,” said Raymond, who was a former Bali Devata Manager since 2011, before the team changed its name to Bali United. Raymond also told ST that the team is now 3rd on the national competition ladder, with a large budget for the best players possible. “Tonight (last night. Ed) they are playing in Gianyar and there will be around 35 thousand people there. It’s a great atmosphere, come along,” he suggested.

Ilija Spasojevic said at the opening that he is happy that a new outlet has opened in Made’s Warung, Seminyak. He already experienced the great enthusiasm of the fans in the Seminyak and Kuta areas. “Several people have asked me to bring them Bali United jerseys, but I didn’t have time to go to Gianyar. I can only go there once a week. So, everyone who loves Bali United can visit this store now,” he said.
