Thai Lion Air launched its first direct flight to Bali from Don Mueang International Airport this morning.

The flight from Don Moeang to Denpasar is the second daily flight to Indonesia after Jakarta by Thai Lion Air. The Jakarta flight has been in existence already a number of years.

“Bali is a rich cultural destination and is a top choice for many travelers from Bangkok, both from Thailand and all over the world. Direct flights are another convenient option for travelers both from and to Bali. We hope this flight can increase the number of tourists to Bali through the Lion Air Group network and attract more passengers from small areas to transit in Bali,” Captain Darsito Hendroseputro from Thai Lion Air told Bali Post.

The flight departed Don Mueang International Airport at 5.50 am and arrived in Denpasar at 11.25am.

The return flight will depart from Bali at 1.20pm and arriving in Bangkok at 5.15pm with a flight time of 4 hours and 30 minutes.
