Four Chinese citizens were detained by Denpasar’s immigration officers at PT. Vivo Bali Indonesia, Jalan Teuku Umar, Denpasar, today (15/05).

Amar Bundiansah, Head of Prevention and Supervision from Denpasar Immigration office, said they were detained due to violating their visitors permit in Indonesia. As reported by Sindo News, when the officers arrived the four men were having a meeting at the third floor of PT. Vivo Bali Indonesia.

“We detained them because they don’t have the proper permit for a foreign worker,” Bundiansah said. He added that they had been running a business that involved made-in-China cell phones, initially in Jakarta but now they have moved to Bali. “They’ve been doing it for about a year now. They will be deported,” he said.
