In conjunction with BULAN K3 NASIONAL 2018*, Bali Hotels Association (BHA), whose members include more than 100 general managers of star rated hotels and resorts in Bali, organized Genset and Boiler Operator Certification sessions for their employees.

The Genset Operator Certification participants came from 67 hotels with a total of 88 persons joining this session, which was divided into three batches, while 22 persons from 16 hotels joined the Boiler Operator Certification session in February to March 2018.

With the help of Delta Indonesia and The Ministry of Manpower, all participants went through a four day training, exercise and examination to achieve the certification from The Ministry of Manpower.

“Bali Hotels Association commits to put safety first for all employees members’ properties, in all departments they are working,” said Fransisca Handoko, BHA Director of Government Relations Program and General Manager of Risata Bali Resort. “This is also our obligation to comply with government regulations.”

  • The abbreviation K3 comes from the three Ks in Indonesian, kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja (health, safety, work) and BULAN K3 NASIONAL 2018 translates to National Occupational Safety and Health Month, which is held from Jan 12 to Feb 12 every year.
